Conditions of entry:
- In accordance with the rules of the Association of Slovene Photographers, the entry is open to amateur and professional photographers from Slovenia and abroad.
- Salon topic: STREET PHOTOGRAPHY
- Each entrant can submit up to 4 (four) photographs.
- The submitted photographs, in its entirety, must be an original work created solely by the entrant, for which they are fully responsible. By submitting their work, the entrant confirms to be familiar with the conditions of entry and agrees with the conditions; the entrant confirms that the photographs submitted are their own original work.
- Each entrant can submit up to 4 photographs in digital form in JPG or JPEG format, which must be at least 3,000 pixels (or more) wide (horizontal) and of 300 ppi resolution; the file size should not exceed 3 MB.
The photographs should be sent to the following e-mail address: fotonatecaj@gmx.com
- The files should be named using the photographer's surname and name and the image title, e.g. john_doe_street3.
- Digital adjustment of submitted photographs is limited to basic corrections (colour and tone, sharpening, removing dust spots, cutting and converting into black and white or toning). Digital manipulation within the meaning of adding or removing elements of photographs is not permitted. Photographs may be adjusted visually but not content-wise.
- All the submitted works that will be in accordance with conditions of entry will be examined and assessed by the three-member jury. The jury will take into account whether the work covers the topic, the originality and expression of the work, as well as aesthetics and technical criteria. The decisions of the jury shall be final, irrevocable and not subject to appeal. The jury will select and award top three photographs and make a selection for the exhibition and projection at the Maribor Photography Museum. Each entrant may be awarded only once under each topic.
- There is no entry fee. The cost price for the catalogue is 10 EUR. Contracts for the catalog will be accepted until 25 September, 2015 to transfer via PayPal to info@fotoklub-maribor.com.
- The organizer can use the submitted works for non-commercial promotion or reproduction in the media and the catalogue. If an author disagrees with the aforementioned notice, they should state this in the entry form.
- Judging results will be published on the Fotoklub Maribor website (http//www.fotoklub-maribor.com).
